1. What is the cheapest solution when it comes to rust and mould resistant panels?

In contrast to lacquered steel plates - also called refrigerator panels - our Beco® panels do not require any painting or coating. They are easy to maintain and have a long lifespan. Because of this, the Beco® panels work out cheaper than other solutions in the long term.

2. Can I fit the materials myself?

We designed the materials and supporting profiles in such a way that you can fit the structure perfectly yourself, ideally with the help of another person. If you wish, you can also call on our technical service to carry out the fitting.

We make prior site visits and are happy to advise you on the Beco® products or solutions that are best suited to your premises. We will gladly help you put your order together.

3. Is it possible to repair rusty refrigerator panels?

Yes, provided the structure of the panel is not excessively damaged.

You should be able to paint the surface, but food-grade paint is expensive. Moreover, this is only a temporary solution. Since rust is not a good substrate, the paint will flake again in time.

A better option would be to clad the rusty surface with thin Beco® panels. If this is the route you decide to take, we would recommend you opt for 2.2 mm thick panels. Attach the Beco® panel with adhesive so that water will never come into contact with oxygen between the rusty refrigerator panel and the Beco® Panel, thus ruling out condensation and rust.

Your best option is to replace all the steel plates of the sandwich panels with Beco® panels. If there is rust on the front and back of the refrigerator panel, it is cheaper to replace everything rather than to repair it.

4. How do I keep my walls mould-free?

By fully removing the causes of mould. For more information on how Beco® can help you in this respect, click here.

5. How can I prevent rust formation?

By fitting Beco® panels. These are made from fibreglass-reinforced polyester boards, which prevent the onset of rust. Moisture, detergents and other chemicals will even cause stainless-steel plates to corrode in the long run. For more information on how Beco® can help you in this respect, click here.

6. How do I avoid having to apply multiple coats of paint to my walls?

Our Beco® panels are made from polyester boards and therefore colourfast. So, painting walls and ceilings over and over again becomes a thing of the past. Simply use lukewarm water and soap to restore the panels to their original pristine condition. For more information on how Beco® can help you in this respect, click here.

7. How do I avoid unwanted cold or heat loss in my premises?

Beco® Iso Panel offers you the most reliable solution for optimum insulation and ought to be preferred over the traditional refrigerator panels and insulation panels. For more information on how Beco® can help you in this respect, click here.

8. How do I stop walls and ceilings from absorbing odours?

Thanks to the Lotus structure of our Beco® panels, walls and ceilings simply cannot absorb any smells. For more information on how Beco® can help you in this respect, click here.
